Shop Partner Terms

These Shop Partner Terms ("Terms") apply to every shop owner ("you", "Partner", "shop") who lists a shop on the AK Meatss platform ("AK Meatss", "we", "us"). They are the full version of the Partner Agreement you accept when you first log in to your shop dashboard. By accepting the agreement and using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

• Platform — the AK Meatss website, app and shop dashboard at akmeatss.com.
• Partner / shop — the independent meat-shop business listed on the Platform.
• Customer — a person who places a pickup order through the Platform.
• Order money — the amount a Customer pays for an order.

2. Eligibility & registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to run a meat shop.
• You must give true and correct details about yourself and your shop.
• You are responsible for getting and keeping any licence your shop needs by law (such as FSSAI registration where required), and for following all applicable laws. AK Meatss is not responsible for your licences.

3. What AK Meatss provides

AK Meatss provides a technology platform that lists your shop, shows your menu and prices, takes Customer orders, and passes them to you with a pickup token. AK Meatss does not own, make, cut, pack, store, sell or deliver the meat. Each shop is an independent business fully responsible for its own products and service.

4. Your responsibilities (quality & service)

• Sell only fresh meat, cut after the order — never yesterday's stock, old stock, or spoiled or expired items.
• Give the exact item, cut and correct weight the Customer ordered.
• Keep your shop, cutting tools and packing clean and hygienic, and follow all food-safety rules.
• Keep your prices, items and availability updated so Customers always see correct details.
• Accept and prepare orders on time, and update the status (Preparing / Ready) honestly.
• Hand over an order only to the Customer with the correct token number and pickup PIN.
• Treat Customers politely and resolve issues in good faith.

5. Orders, tokens & pickup

Each paid order gets a numbered token and a 4-digit pickup PIN shown to the Customer. You must verify the token and PIN before handing over an order. All orders are for pickup at your shop; AK Meatss does not provide home delivery.

6. Pricing, payments & platform fee

• You set your own prices. You are responsible for their accuracy.
• Customer online payments are processed by Razorpay and go directly into your own Razorpay/bank account. AK Meatss does not hold or handle your order money.
• You are responsible for setting up and maintaining your own Razorpay account and completing its KYC.
• You agree to pay AK Meatss the platform subscription fee as agreed at the time of joining, including any free-trial period offered to you.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for your own taxes (including GST where applicable) on your sales. AK Meatss does not calculate, collect or pay your taxes for you.

8. Cancellations & refunds

You will not cancel orders without a genuine reason. You will refund or replace fairly when a Customer has a real quality complaint. Refunds on online-paid orders are made from your own Razorpay account through the Platform's cancellation flow.

9. Identity documents (KYC) & consent

• You allow AK Meatss to keep a copy of your ID proof (Aadhaar and PAN) and your shop details for verification and record-keeping.
• You confirm the documents are genuine, are yours, and are given willingly for this purpose.
• AK Meatss stores these securely, uses them only to confirm you are a genuine shop owner, and does not sell or share them for marketing.

10. Data & confidentiality

AK Meatss keeps a secure record of your agreement acceptance (including the date, time, version, and the device used) and your KYC. Customer data shown to you (such as name and phone for an order) must be used only to fulfil that order and not for any other purpose.

11. Independent business relationship

You are an independent shop owner. Nothing in these Terms makes you an employee, agent or partner (in the legal sense) of AK Meatss. You run your shop; AK Meatss only provides the Platform.

12. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The quality, freshness and safety of the meat is entirely your responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AK Meatss is not responsible for the food you sell or for any illness, loss, injury or damage caused by it, and AK Meatss's liability to you for any matter connected with the Platform is limited to the platform fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

13. Indemnity (your protection to AK Meatss)

If any complaint, claim, fine, legal case or police case arises from the meat you sell or the way you run your shop, it is your responsibility. You agree to protect AK Meatss and its owner from, and cover, any resulting loss, cost, penalty or legal action.

14. Suspension & termination

AK Meatss may suspend or remove your shop if you break these Terms, receive repeated genuine complaints, do not pay the platform fee, or provide false information. You may leave the Platform at any time by informing AK Meatss; you remain responsible for orders already placed.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we increase the agreement version, and you will be asked to accept the new version at your next login. The latest version is always available on this page.

16. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute falls under the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
